What is IPM?

ipm is a couple of small applications for peer to peer voice chat, primarily for use over lan. No need to connect to third party server. The package contains a server and a client. To call a friend, tell him to run the server, then call his ip address through your client. To be able to be called by others, simply leave the server running.
The readme file included in the archieve contains installation and/or compilation as well as usage information.

Instructions

To install, copy the following lines of code and paste in a terminal:

--ubuntu,linux mint--
wget http://www.skswain.in/ipm/ipm_src.zip
unzip ipm_src.zip
cd ipm_src
chmod 775 install_ipm
sudo ./install_ipm
--debian--
wget http://www.skswain.in/ipm/ipm_src.zip
unzip ipm_src.zip
cd ipm_src
chmod 775 install_ipm
su
./install_ipm
exit

To run it type the following code
ipmsd start
To call some one type
call 192.168.212.35
To chat type
chat 192.168.212.35
